Entering the entertainment industry in 2012 with the Telugu film Sudigadu, Monal Gajjar is a popular actress who has worked in most of the prominent Indian film industries. She was nominated at the SIIMA Award for Best Female Debutant for Sudigadu. She went on to star in a Malayalam film Dracula 2012 (2013), and then Tamil films like Sigaram Thodu (2014) and Vanavarayan Vallavarayan (2014). Monal has also featured in Gujarati films like Thai Jashe! (2016), Aav taru kari nakhu, and I Wish (2017). In 2018 Monal starred in the director duo Rahul Bhole and Vinit Kanojia`s Gujarati drama, Reva. The cast also includes Abhinay Banker, Chetan Dhanani, Yatin Karyekar, Prashant Barot, Rupa Borgaonkar, and Dayashankar Pandey in important roles. The movie is based on the 1998 novel "Tatvamasi" by renowned Gujarati writer Dhruv Bhatt. Her 2021 reelase incldues Kaagaz.
